Hi! My passion with art started when I was 5 years old. I was caught drawing all over a wall behind our couch - and then on the piano keyboard - and then in every drawer in my dresser. I'd doodle every day throughout my school years, and went on to publish a weekly cartoon strip in my college newspaper. So, when it was time to graduate, I naturally went on to start a career in....
Sales! Ok, not the obvious choice, but, boy did I learn a lot about business and people. I was fortunate to live in NYC and continue taking classes at the best art schools including School of Visual Arts, FIT, Parsons, NY Studio Schools, Society of Illustrators, and The Arts Student League.
On the side, I started designing custom holiday cards for businesses, as well as for friends, and myself. I designed jewelry charms for Good Charma, created a CD cover for Grammy award winning, New Orleans musician, George Porter Jr. I illustrated children's poems for a magazine, covers for audiobooks, and designed t-shirts and bags for a leisurewear company. I also created logos and cartoons for local businesses.
I specialize in creating fun, simple, and whimsical, drawings, that ideally bring a smile to your face. I work with clients to create custom illustrations for business and personal needs in print, digital, as well as for social media. My work is inspired by my favorite artists, Shell Silverstein, Jules Feiffer, William Steig, and Roz Chast.
In Spring 2019, I will be launching a comic along with a greeting card collection called Curly Line Design.
I live in NYC with my husband and 7 year old twin boys who also love drawing...but thankfully on paper.
